Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Payment Of The Course
- Reservations require a deposit of 30% of the total price. There is no refund of the deposit, but it can be transferred to another Yoga Teacher Training course if a minimum of 30 days’ notice is given prior to the beginning of the course.
- Payment methods for the remaining cost of the course include:
- – Bank transfer: Payments should be effective two weeks before the course commencement date. International transfers can take a long time to process, which is why we recommend sending payments at least one month in advance. Transfers and arrivals will not be accepted and the course will not commence if the total payment has not been received. Please note that all bank or payment fees are your responsibility.
- – Cash upon arrival it’s accepted and appreciated , please inform your course manager if this is the best option for you (local currency or US dollars preferred).
- Balances paid prior to the due date are 100% refundable until 60 days before the course start date, 50% until 30 days before the course start date, after which it becomes non-refundable.
- Late bookings (less than 30 days prior to the course start date) require full payment.
- If a student suffers an injury, medical condition or is subject to force majeure after the course begins, La Casa Shambala will not refund a course in any case. La casa Shambala reserves the right to offer the student the option of completing the course in the same or another location within the next 18 months.
- If La Casa Shambala offers a special discount, guests who have already paid the full price will not be eligible for it.
2. The Course Fee Includes:
- Certification from Yoga Alliance (printed copy) – either RYT200 or RYT300, depending on the course
- For the duration of the training, accommodation is provided.
- On training days, meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as provided drinks (dinner on arrival day, and breakfast on departure day).
- All necessary materials for classes, including a yoga mat and a handbook.
- All course activities, workshops and classes.
- On the day of the course’s start, transfers from the nearby airport/station will be provided.
- Support of the team and training manager on an ongoing basis.
The course fee does not include: extra activities not part of the training course, meals on days off (other than those described above), any visa fees (if necessary), or transportation to the pick up point.
3. Cancellations.
- Even though La Casa Shambala makes every effort to ensure that a booked training is completed, we reserve the right to cancel any training due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event that this occurs, payments can be transferred to another training date or location. La Casa Shambala is not responsible for any costs associated with flights, transfers, or any other expenses incurred.
- It is highly recommended that you obtain travel insurance in case of accidents and/or injuries on these occasions. Before beginning the training, students will be required to sign a waiver of liability.
4. Covid-19 Terms and Conditions.
As per the usual terms the deposit is non-refundable but given the current uncertainty and hindrances due to Covid-19, it is transferable to a different location or date with evidence of positive test (within 2 days of course starting) or any new travel regualtion.
Covid-19 hindrances include:
- Closure of the borders or imposed travel restrictions to the destination country of the training.
- Governmental restrictions on group events in the country of the training course.
- Safety and health restrictions and concerns, due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country of destination or in your country of travel, making an in person YTT impossible and/or unsafe.
5. Photography and Video.
During the course, we may take pictures or videos for marketing purposes. These may be used by Casa Shambala for marketing purposes. Please let us know if you do not wish to be included in these pictures or videos and we will not use your photos or videos.
